COVID-19 Update

July 18, 2022 – Linn County COVID-19 Community Level remains at a HIGH COVID level. At this level you should wear a well-fitted mask indoors in public spaces, regardless of vaccination status.

The Meth-Wick Community COVID Taskforce has made the decision to return to mandatory masking for all residents and visitors. This masking policy will be effective today, 7/18/2022.

July 15, 2022 – The CDC has moved the Linn County COVID-19 Community Level from Medium to HIGH COVID level. Linn County Transmission Level remains HIGH. At this level you should wear a well-fitting mask indoors in public, regardless of vaccination status. Stay up to date with COVID vaccines and get tested if you have symptoms. If you are at high risk for severe illness, talk to your healthcare provider about other precautions you should take.

The Meth-Wick Community COVID Taskforce recommends that you wear a mask while indoors both on the Meth-Wick campus and out in the greater Cedar Rapids community.
